Going through it too

Everything you described is what I am going through this year as well, except I am a first grade teacher. I have one student who the behavioralist has been contacted since the beginning of school and has yet to come observe
my classroom. He has have 4 behavioral reports given so far. Two from me for agressive behavior and 1 from the gym teacher and the cafeteria workers for the same. We have tried 3 different behavior modifications and none have worked. Mom refuses to even talk to us. We cannot contact her at home or on her cell and she will not call us back. Besides him, I have 2 more on behavior

modifications and several who are so disrespectful to adults and their classmates. As in your class, my good students are making bad choices. I feel overwhelmed and some days don't even want to get out of bed. The other teachers have been supportive and they have all had that "one" class so they understand. I know we will make it through. Our year is halfway over and hopefully next year will bring a better mix of students.
