The Conundrum we all face
By Heidi

Clip to ScrapBook
Yes, I feel your pain. Orgainizing when there is so much to organize is the pits. Here's what I do: I set up a separate book shelf for each subject. SO I hhave loads of math resources on one shelf, language arts has a
shelf all its own, science, social studies, health all share a shelf, but are sorted and labeled. For my day-to day copies and prep, I have baskets for each subject. They are laid out across my table that is right next to my desk. These baskets are from dollar store, and are large enough to fit a regular photocopy and tall enough to hold several class sets. As I prepare for math, I
get the sheets ready and plop them in that basket. As I get ready for science, it goes int he basket.

This doesn't help me with the dilemma of looking through the pile of math books for ideas and the reproducibles, but it does give the copies a place to call home until I ue them. And I won't misplace any! In fact, I teach sicence tomorrow, and the teacher guide is also in my basket becuase it happens to be a thin guide.
Good luck!
