Portfolio
By Beth

Clip to ScrapBook
I had to create one when I was in college, we got graded on it... I have also updated it since I graduated and got more work experience.

My portfolio has the following:
1. My Philosophy of Education
2. Resume
3.
Classroom Management Plan
4. Lesson Plans in multiple subjects at different grade levels, including pictures and student work samples
5. Pictures of Bulletin Boards
6. Parent Communication info (a copy of my newsletter, Open House handout)
7. Certification and Praxis Scores
8. Evaluations (from student teaching and my work experience)
9. Letters of reccomendation (from
principals, teachers I've worked with, students, parents, and my students teaching coordinator)
10. Awards and Certificates (including professional development certificates)
11. My student transcript
12. Unit Plans from student teaching

*Offer to leave it for the person who is interviewing you so they can go through it later.

*Refer to it as you are being interviewed, you spend alot of time on it, and often people do not want to be bothered paging through it themselves.

Good luck. Don't hestitate to email me if you have any further questions. Bmont22aol.com
