I feel for you.

Clip to ScrapBook
Karen, I feel for you. You are not alone. Believe me there are plenty of teachers who have been patiently waiting for an opprotunity to land a full time job at the grade level of their choice.

As far as not going on th
field trip I wouldn't be too hurt. Someone just didn't think you would be interested since you are part time. I know you went to every other trip but they just didn't think.I don't think they were trying to be mean just thoughtless. Next time a trip is scheduled speak up and let the planners know you would like to be included even though the trip is not during your hours.

And apply for

that job. The one that you think they want a man teacher for. There is no harm in applying for a job.You never know what will happen. I've heard of a few people that got a job after the original person changed their mind or something happened and what was thought to be final arrangements fell apart. Apply for as many jobs as possible. Hey, you never know what will come your way.

Good luck to you and all the job seekers out there! BN
