I'm a mom too, and at times I get a little sad missing my kids too. ... Only they're 23 and 21! The oldest has moved out on his own and the other's away at college. I still get excited, anticipating the days when one or both come home to visit! So you missing your little one is very normal and can be expected. I think every mom goes through it and it gets easier each and every day. Think of yourself! You must allow your body to heal. Soon you will be feeling stronger physically & mentally. Then you will be better able to enjoy life as a mother of 2. Please seek help from your medical professionals if the depression continues or increases. Think positively! Benjamin will be home before you know it, full of all kinds of exciting things to share about his first day. Cuddle & snuggle together on the couch and listen to his day. Think happy thoughts! While you're still at home recouperating, watch happy movies - comedies - things that will make you chuckle. Laughter is the best medicine! But we careful, laughing too hard may hurt your stitches I hope you are feeling better soon! lol
