Thank you's go a long way!

When I started subbing many years ago, I had a few teachers that always went out of their way to contact me just to say Thank You, but as the years went on, the thank you's were far in between.

Now that I am a teacher,
I have noticed that we are going through subs like crazy. When I notice that they are not working here at our school anymore, I give them a call, and they all have the same complaint (besides the pay) they all say that they can not work in a place that does not appreciate them, or the time that they put into getting a position there.
As me being a former sub, and now a teacher, who

organizes classes, and calls subs in to work, I feel that I have overlooked them in the past, and here is my chance to say thank you to all subs for your hard work, and dedication.

If there are any teachers out there reading this, if a simple Thank You is all it takes, or maybe a nice compliment to a sub that you had yesterday, to make someone happy, just do it!

(Needing to cover myself) Teachers, your job is important, and Thank You for all your hard work as well.
