I have been doing this for the past 7 years in my classrooms. Listed below are some activities that I do with my primary ages students. You can also visit my website for updated information. My assistant and I are always| trying to come up with something new or different! We also try to post photos occassionally. www.geocities.com/kindergartenbees Fun Friday Thirty minutes is set aside from 2:00-2:30 pm on the last day of each school week as a reward for good behavior during the week. On the first day of the week, post the activity for all to see during the week (I have mine on the near the calendar | | area.) In order to “enter” the activity, students may only have a select number of punches on their weekly behavior ticket (usually 5 punches per week in Kindergarten.) Listed below are various activities that are free or inexpensive to use as the rewards.************************************************************************************************************************** sidewalk chalk bubbles movie free choice centers theme/holiday party cooking/food shaving cream on tables playdough computers project dance board games field trip concert finger painting theme unit activity puzzles guest speaker monthly birthday party (I do not allow individual student parties in my room)
