Help in coping
By Marilyn

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Carrie,

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your daughter and the difficult situation that your son and the rest of your family are experiencing. This is a situation that is beyond your control and you really need
to talk with someone outside of your immediate family like a counselor, or maybe even if you belong to a church, a priest or clergy member.

Many times when you talk to a professional person in the field, they are able to give you insight to solutions that you might never have thought of before. I will pray for your family and I know you will be guided in the right direction. Maybe

you should find a time for you and your ex husband to get together and share some quiet time together. Even if you don't get back together, you both are sharing the same pain and can support and understand each other. You may be able to help you children through brainstorming ideas together. It couldn't hurt. Don't try to make any decisions about getting back together, just take baby steps, but do lean on each other for support. After all, you were both blessed with your beautiful daughter together and God decided to call her home earlier than you all ever would have expected. Have faith and don't ever lose hope. Time and love has a way of easing pain. God Bless you and your family.
