My experience
By mom

Clip to ScrapBook
I have done both situations--staying home and working full-time. I worked full-time with my oldest son, I went back to work when he was six months old. If you want my honest opinion, I hated working full-time and not being
able to see my son. When I picked him up at his babysitters in the afternoon, I was always exhausted and had a list of 30 things to do before the next day. My son was always clingy and grouchy at this time of day. It was awful. When I found out I was pregnant with my second son, my husband and I decided it was time for me to stay home. Sure, I was worried that I would go stir-crazy,
miss teaching like crazy, and we would be forever poor but none of those has happened. I love being home. I am more relaxed, I feel like I really know my kids, and I have developed a daily exercise routine. I feel 100 percent better! I like to think that right now, the investment I am putting into my family will be well worth it and I will never regret the time I spent at home. By the way, my older son who is now seven, loves me being home. I pick him up at the bus stop and have the energy to spend quality time with him in the evenings and weekends. Good luck with your decision, I hope this helped!
