Lucky you...help me out
By l.m.m.

Clip to ScrapBook
I guess you should be glad that the only problem you have is feeling bad because other people are upset your class is under control. I want to be you. I want my class to be like that. I work at it and practice procedures,
try to be consistant. I am a still a fairly new teacher (just a couple of years) but what can I do. What do you do for consequences. I am not sure its what I'm doing, maybe just how I do it. I have consequences but I have to keep inacting them. I shouldn't have so manby kids in for recess. How do I get students to stay in their seats and not wander during lessons, not talk during
lessons. I am truly working on it. Every day I wonder if it is them or me. Some people say them, some people say me. My philosophy says it has to be me, but if I am constantly aware of it and trying so hard, why can't I make it better. I know I may not always be consistant...but it seems like there is so much going on I miss something I should be taking care of. What do I do to "whip them into shape the first week" I dont think my school is like that. What do I do if they break the procedures that are set up. Don't tell me to buy a book. If you do it...what o you do? How?
