Teaching is
We are not perfect - I've been teaching for 11 years now and I still make mistakes. But I wouldn't trade my career for anything - well perhaps a few million dollars would be convincing I have always recommended to anyone struggling in their first year to at least give it a second year if they can. I also like to list pros and cons of what I'm doing so I can make a better decision as to where I want to be in the future. So take a good look at the grade you are teaching, your administration, your colleagues, etc., and decide if a change to a new grade or school would help your situation. If most things are fine, then give that 2nd year a chance to see if things are better for you. You'll be amazed at how much easier some things will be for you in your second year.
