With subbing you never have a guarantee and you could end up with 4 or 5 years of almost full-time placements
And perhaps you can coax your husband into joining you an evening or two at school and help you out with things like displays, etc., which would give you some extra time together. And last but not least - you are still in control of your time. You've had some experience already which will make a huge difference in your classroom with little things. Many new teachers make time management mistakes by starting huge projects, making elaborate bulletin boards, marking every piece of work, volunteering for too many committes, etc., trying to make a good impression their first year. Thus they burn themselves out too quickly. So know ahead of time some things you can do to cut back on the time you'll need to spend in school. Make a few bulletin boards that stay up for several months, only volunteer for 1 or 2 committees that are not time-consuming, don't get caught up in neat time consuming projects - you'll have plenty of time later to get into those, etc., Good luck with your decision and possible job hunt
