We have a three hour literacy block per day...the children love Book Publishing where you have materials for them to make their own books, ABC center, Writer's workshop activities, Math with a literacy component, Book Study, Listening, Poetry, Shared Reading activity, art, Library...etc. If you need some specific ideas just let me know...I will try to help.
