The DARE officer introduces this subject to my first-graders very early in the year, and we're able to build on it throughout the year. I like the authority he brings to the topic. Even though he is very sensitive in the way he presents the topic, he makes very sure the children understand that it is illegal for adults to "bad touch" them.
