In my opinion Scholastic and other book companies give those free books/ bonus points as an incentive to get teachers to do the book orders. Without them how many of us would actually spend the time and energy doing book orders? They are awarded to the teacher NOT to the school. So by all means the books are your's to keep and take with you.
