There's a Magic Castle Book (a series that I got when my boys were little) that's called Ice Cream Cows and Mitten Sheep that connects the farm animal with their "product". that makes me think of making ice cream in the classroom. There's a way to do it with plastic bags and ice, but I don't have the recipe off the top of my head.
