Jackson-The closest our elementary school comes to that study is perhaps a simple family tree, only going back as far as mom and dad can remember. And that is usually just for show-hall displays for something like grandparents day. I've never seen actual research addressed in a text book. There would be all sorts of permission and privacy issues. Perhaps at a higher grade level in a computer/research class?
