Favorite authors

My favorite is Shelley Harwayne. I love her books. The most recent one that I read was Going Public. I've also read Writing Through Childhood. Both were fantastic! I also really like Sharon Taberski. Both Taberski and Harwayne worked for the Manhatten New School. Taberski wrote On Solid Ground.
For differentiated instruction, make sure you've read up on Fountas and Pinnell. They've done so much in the area of reading instruction.
