Group seating

I use group seating in my classroom. A lot of the curriculum requires students to work in cooperative groups. Throughout the year, I have students switch desks so that they learn to work with a variety of personalities and learning styles. I provide dividers for them to use when they are testing or working individually. This is my 3rd year using this arrangement and I have found it to be quite successful.
