dead word cemetary

This was a suggestion I got from this board! It's like the above post but I picked words that are overused (happy, sad, great, pretty etc.)and put them on a tombstone. Then, I created a "mound of dirt" with brown construction paper and put synonyms of those words on it. I declare the overused words dead and gone (not to be used in their writing). It worked really well last year. Hope this helps!
