Decimals
By Karen

Clip to ScrapBook
Christy, if you have play money or money for the overhead, these work well. I also use the plastic grids that people do needlepoint on. They are very cheap and can be used for the overhead and as manipulatives. I cut a 100 unit for one whole, a rod of 10 for 100ths, and individual squares for tenths. Graph paper also works. Manipulatives are helpful for the kids to see decimals equalities (0.50=0.5) Good luck!
