Wow- I am surprised to hear your opinion about EM is so negative. Our school bought it new two years ago after doing an extensive comparison to other programs available. This by far outweighed the other programs. It actually makes students think! Although they include "new" math ideas they still teach basic concepts. I hope your school is really looking into it and comparing it to other programs! It's so worth it!
