I have located a few titles that might help you. One is "If you Lived at the Time of the Civil War," by Kay Moore. It is published by Scholastic. Since Scholastic publishes so many non-fiction books and fiction books that deal with history, I would recommend trying to get one of their book lists. Perhaps your librarian can give you an up-to-date list of the titles in your school's library. Of course, I would also consider videos.
