and tell that mom exactly what you told us? Admit you made a mistake and admit your frustration...with the class and with her for bad mouthing her... appologize and tell her she's right you shouldn't have punished the whole class and in the future you won't do that. Ask her for her support instead of being negative....I've actually done this and the parent ended up appologizing to me....parents like it when you admit you made a mistake...
