Um... By New York Teach

I would KISS you if you sent kids to my class knowing about a calendar! My first graders showed up not knowing any numbers above 10, not knowing any sounds, some of them DON'T KNOW THE ALPHABET! I've been looking at their cum files to see who their kindergarten teacher was - the amazing thing is they all had different teachers but all have the same deficiencies!

Good for you for teaching them something other than the idea that "centers" means "play time!"
