Maybe I have that girl's cousin

I have the exact same type of kid! Right in the middle of everything he yells some sort of tattle like, "He hit me!" I say that it isn't appropriate to yell out (also I know this kid is lying), and he keeps saying, "But he hit me." It's as if he thinks the rules just don't apply to him, or that it's okay to interrupt if there's some kind of problem happening to His Highness. And yes, the mom is in denial.
