Parents?

Encourage the girl to talk to her parents and she should ask them to come to school. It should be the parents' decision to skip 4th grade. You however should not get involved except to encourage communication between her family and the school. Either way, the sweet girl will be gone and on to junior high in a year or two and you will have to work besides disgruntled co-workers for a much longer time if you stomp on toes so act cautiously and carefully.
