Globe Coordinates
By Stephanie

Clip to ScrapBook
One thing I did to practice longitude and latitude was to use a map of the world, with lat. and long. lines on it and then have the students plot out points. Since we were studying natural disaters as the time, I found a list of the 20 most recent volcano eruptions in the world and had them plot the volcanos by latitude and longitude in the world. This was very helpful to them in following the curvature of the globe on a flat map.
