unit plan

I am currently in my last semester of student teaching before graduating. I also have to do a unit plan using all of the subjects with a main focus. Last semester, I did two different lesson units - the solar system and the Lewis-Clark expedition. This semester, the teacher that I am working with expressed that he would appreciate it if I did my unit on "communities". It takes a lot of creativity and a lot of research but can be a lot of fun.
