Some ideas could be to use the date for the day- If today is October 18, yesterday was the 17. tomorrow will be the 19. Yesterday comes before, tomorrow comes after today etc etc. Or if you count school days to a 100 celebration, use that number for before and after correlation having them fill in the blank line- ___ , 20, 21 ..... 19, ___, 21..... 19, 20, ____. Etc. Refer to the number line in each discussion. For ordering one digit numbers, you can also refer to a analog clock!
