too much talking

When I used to sub, I would carry around play money called (behavior bucks). Each student would receive 2 or 3 dollars from me. I then would explain my rules and expectations. If students chose to break the rules, it would cost them a dollar. Those who had all of their money at the end of the day were given a small reward such as 5 minutes extra recess or a treat from my treat bag. This really worked. I never had a student run out of money!!!!
