In addition to the previous replies, I add a 100th chart. We mark off each day and say "We're counting to the 100th day of School!" Also, I have a sentence strip laminated and the students will fill in the answers to the following questions: Yesterday was_____.; Today is_____.; Tomorrow will be_____.; Today's date is _______.; and finally We have been in school__ days. The students really love writing on the sentence strips. We use an overhead transparency pen and wipe the words off with baby wipes. Happy teaching!
