nose picking memories

You bring back memories. When I was in second grade I used to pick my nose and my teacher would go balistic. I remember hidding behind an upright book hoping I wouldn't be caught.
That said, I'd suggest you a) speak to the child privately and explain how its unclean, unhealthy... and/or b) get the childs attention when he does it and make a waving motion signalling him to stop. This is what I do when students suck on the wire of their headphones in my computer lab.
