    Hi! I do exactly like the previous poster, but I also do two different activities. I have a page with pictures and have the kids write the initial constant (I have 1 for every letter), I also give them a paper with blank spaces, and tell them a letter and have them write the beginning sounds...this I also include beginning blends. I repeat these tests throughout the year for report card testing. (I got the pictures from an A,B,C phonics clip art book).
