I had my students set a weekly goal for themselves that I approved at the beginning of the week. I encouraged them to set it where they could achieve it even if they had to miss a day, etc. I would keep put a stamp on a chart if they completed their goal and had check points every few weeks where they could earn a prize. (ex at check point 1 they had to have 4/5 stamps.) It really worked well the whole time--13 weeks--they were motivated to do more.
