Bats........

I try to avoid the halloween aspect of bats...they do so much for the environment I want to stress that part of the learning. I get almost all my info from Bat Conservation International. They have amazing books,posters and other resources. We do simulations of how echolocation works and how mother bats find their pups amid thousands of babies in nursery colonies. I always send home Bat House plans and parents often make them with their second graders. I love bats myself. ( I'm trying to make you origami bat it is so great!!)
