The BFG is a wonderful fantasy to read aloud to 4th graders. It is about a little orphan girl who is snatched from her bedroom in the middle of the night by a giant. It turns out he is the Big Friendly Giant who spends each night blowing dreams into the bedrooms of sleeping children. He lives in a land with other giants who eat humans. The BFG and Sophie must come up with a plan to stop the giants from continuing their nasty habits. It's a great book and was written by Roald Dahl.
