Rubric
By LoriW

Clip to ScrapBook
A writing rubric is an assessment tool, so I'm not sure what they mean when they say they want you to "keep" a rubric on each child. You can certainly use rubrics on an ongoing basis to assess kids' writing. Also, I don't know if you spelled it wrong on accident, but the word is "rubric". I'm not being nitpicky, I thought it would be important for you to know if you were going to run a search on rubrics. A great place to go for writing rubrics and information on teaching writing is nwrel.org. Good luck!
