I have a great book. It's called "Signing: How to Speak With Your Hands." It's by Elaine Costello and was put out by Bantam Press (it's quite a few years old, and there are revisions made periodically - the language is at least as dynamic as spoken language). You might also try to get someone who knows sign to help you (unless you are already fluent). This could be someone who uses ASL because they and/or a family member are deaf or because they use it in their work (e.g. as a translator). Good luck with it.
