Nasty Aide

Remember, it is YOUR CLASSROOM and you are in charge. I had an aide like yours my first year teaching. She was nasty to me and to the children. I found it helpful to have a 3-way conversation early in the year with her and my principal. At the end of the year, I had to evaluate her. She didn't like the evaluation and quit. I ended up with a wonderful aide who worked very well with me and the children loved her. Don't take any of her nonsense. Let her know you are in charge!!
