I have to have a quiet line. It drives me CRAZY to have have anyone talking. I am right by PE, so many classes pass my room. I know what it's like to be disrupted. I line my kids up girls together and boys together. We switch off girls in front one day, boys the next. They like the contest. Which group is quiter in the hall. Sometimes I even ask other teachers who they think are doing a better job. Most of the time the other teacher will say they are all doing great. They love it.
