Inner city kids

I have taught in the rich suburbs and I am on my 11 year in the inner city and I'd take the inner city anyday!!Those kids need teachers like us plus this is the real world!!!I have formed some great bonds with my kids and parents. Alot of times,it is not that the parents don't want to help they may not know how because of a bad experience they had at a previuos school. Reach out to the parents ... you might be surprised what you get in return. Plus, the kids love you no matter what!!!
