Check out Oriental trading Company, party stores for bulk birthday favors, and dollar stores for some inexpensive items. The book clubs will also offer a 95 cent gift coupon good for one book up to $1.95 that you can either puchase or us bonus points to get for the kids. I usually put together a small goodie bag for the kids with a few stickers, a book club gift cert., some kind of party favors, a temporary tattoo, a hoilday pencil, and a few small candies -I've found that the younger kids love this more than one more expensive item.
