My assignments each night amount to a math worksheet and a spelling assignment. That's the regular assignment. I figure that kids are in school from 8:00-2:45 and like us don't need to take home a lot of work. My parents love me for not giving a lot of homework. I just can't see the point in it. Kids need exercise and relaxation when they get home from the long work day, just like everybody else. There is an occasional writing assignment or catch up work. That doesn't occur very frequently unless the child was absent.
