This is off the top of my head: How about making a set of cards with a picture of different items from Walmart or grocery store ads and put the price on it---make it up. Beginning level match those cards less than a dollar with another index card with the correct coins stamped on them (matching game). Intermed. level higher priced items and make correct change from a 10 bill(matching or memory). Just right the change amounts on a set of cards. Higher level kids pick two cards and add them. Highest number gets the two cards (like war)
