My time Your time

I spend the first couple of weeks reminding the students that it is their responsibility to go before school. I give two or three breaks during the day. If the student asks to go at another time then they must buy time. A restroom break costs them 5 minutes of their recess. Of course if the student is sick or having some difficulties exceptions can be made and I inform the class of this. But this plan has worked well for three years in forcing them to use the restroom at the appropriate times and not using class time. Good Luck.
