Flash Cards

A really inexpensive way to get flashcards for the class is to make them. I have my third graders make their own. They love to do it and it helps them learn. Each Friday, I take about 10 minutes to go over the facts and then it takes the kids about 10 minutes to make the cards. It is really easy. I used tag board last year, but this year I am just using plain construction paper cut 3x3. I also like having a class set of the flashcards so the kids can get them to practice if they finish assignments early.
