For Place Value...I had a poster I made with the places labeled hung up for reference. I use white boards in class and everyday for a couple of weeks I would have the kids write out the place value in order using the words. hundred thousands, ten thousands, thousands, hundreds, tens, ones It is really boring, but it helped them to memorize. At this stage, they need to know how to identify the stages. It might work for your kids too. Good Luck!
