long term subbing

It might vary from school to school...but usually long-term subs are pretty much the teacher. You would do the conferences, report cards, lesson plans, testing, etc. Some teachers might say "don't change this or this" such as discipline policy or homework policy. YOu want to definately add your own flair to the class though so that you can leave a good impression on the principal, incase the teacher decides to not come back. Usually the classroom teacher and you would keep in contact some too, but again that might just depend on the individual teacher. Hope that helps a bit and good luck!
