It sounds like you're doing all the right things. I think the key to making it work is consistency. Stick with what you're doing (sticks on the board, rewards, etc.) and be firm about them. Don't let them control you. I feel like I'm a bit harsh to my kids sometimes, but you need to be in the beginning of the year, until they get the idea that you're serious. Stick with the consequences, make calls home. keep kids in for recess and call their parents in front of them (they'll hate that!). Keep at it. It'll work out!Good luck,
